  Obviously any pain medication can be additive but this doctor prescribed Oxycontin to my 16 year old after having her wisdom teeth out. There are other pain medications out there such as Tylenol with codeine that seem to have less additive qualities to it. I am currently looking at an article in which the state of Ohio is suing the makers of Oxycontin and blaming them for their heroin problem. As a parent, I am reluctant to give her this medication and she is in pain. I call the office Thursday morning after her Wednesday surgery to see if I could get Tylenol with codeine instead. The doctor is out of the office on Thursdays and can not contact me until Friday. So I asked the reception, what if my daughter had dry socket issues on a Thursday? Who takes off on a Thursday and does not have any coverage. This is not alright!

  The absolute BEST oral surgeon in AZ! Don't hesitate to come here. Dr. Lamb and his staff are amazing. I am on Day 3 of healing from getting my last two wisdom teeth removed (one of which was very impacted) and it was a great experience. I had local anesthesia as well as laughing gas during the procedure. Pain is minimal and hardly any swelling. I even received a phone call from Dr. Lamb the evening of the surgery to see how I was feeling. This place is wonderful and I will be recommending it to everyone!
